In short

The HOKA Semi de Paris 2027 is on Sunday 7 March 2027. The 2027 course is not published yet and the route changes every year; in 2026 it started on Boulevard Saint-Germain in the Latin Quarter and finished at Place de la Bastille. Runners should stay in the Latin Quarter, the Marais around Saint-Paul or by Bastille, all close to Métro line 1 or 10. In 2026 runners started on Boulevard Saint-Germain by the Institut du Monde Arabe, in waves from 08:00 to 11:24, and entered their start zone from side streets such as Rue du Cardinal Lemoine. The nearest stations were Cardinal Lemoine and Maubert-Mutualité (line 10), Jussieu (lines 7 and 10) and Saint-Paul (line 1). The free bag drop was on Boulevard de la Bastille, by the finish, so leave time to drop your bag and walk over the Pont de Sully to the start.

Where to watch the Paris Half Marathon

In 2026 the organisers' own supporter plan was: see the start, take Métro line 1 out to the Château de Vincennes at km 12, then ride line 1 back to Bastille for the finish. The 2027 route is new, so check it when it is published.

  1. km 12 (mile 8)

    Château de Vincennes

From the start, walk to Saint-Paul and take Métro line 1 to Château de Vincennes; the organisers allowed about 40 minutes for this in 2026. Runners pass the castle and turn back towards Paris along Avenue Daumesnil.

  2. km 20 (mile 12)

Rue de Rivoli, Hôtel de Ville

Take Métro line 1 back from Château de Vincennes to Hôtel de Ville, two stops before Bastille on the same line. The 2026 plan allowed about 30 minutes for the ride to Bastille, so this is tight for fast runners. From here it is a short walk along Rue Saint-Antoine to the finish.

  3. Meet your runner

In 2026 the finish line was on Rue de Lyon by the Opéra Bastille. Supporters are not allowed past the line; runners collect their medal and bag and leave by Rue de Lyon or Rue Lacuée. The organisers advise agreeing a clear meeting point away from the exits, as phones may not work in the crowd.
